ATTENDANCE POLICY: Attendance is the key to succeed in all college classes. Attendance may be taken at the beginning or end of Lecture. All students will attend class prepared for discussion and class interactions. Failure to come to class on time, or to attend the whole class will result in points deducted from your attendance. Students are responsible for material missed in any absence. Students will provide a valid excuse before missing class deadlines. Make up exams will be administered during the final exam. It is the student’s responsibility to file a drop or withdrawal slip with the Office of Admissions and Records. Your instructor will not automatically drop you from the class roll. If this happens you will receive the grade for the points earned.
Students should be aware of the sections titled "Student Conduct" of the Skyline College Catalog. This class will be run in accordance with those policies. Cheating and plagiarism will result in a withdrawal or failure of the class, and the Dean of Students will be notified.
