To retrieve data related to campus crime for Cañada College, College of San Mateo or Skyline College, please visit the Office of Postsecondary Education of the U.S. Department of Education website. The Campus Security Data Analysis Cutting Tool is designed to provide rapid customized reports for public inquiries relating to campus crime data. The data are drawn from the Office of Postsecondary Education Campus Security Statistics website database to which crime statistics are submitted annually by all postsecondary institutions that recieve Title IV funding as required by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires all colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to keep and disclose information about crime on and near their respective campuses. The Clery Act also requires institutions to give timely warnings of crimes that represent a threat to the safety of students or employees.
