Cañada College –Gateways Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

As a part of the Gateways Project, new Granite art pieces will be installed near Bldg #3, the Primary gateway entry @ Famhill Blvd, and installation of the Entablature South of the Bus Stop Shelter by Bldg #1 (Gym).

SCHEDULE:

Spring Break, April 6-10th, 2009

CAMPUS IMPACT:

Primary Gateway, Construction crane equipment will be staged on “pass thru” typical of Phase three, which was just opened.   
The Loop Road between Bldg #3 and the Bus Stop will be closed during working hours, 6AM to 3PM to allow the operation of a crane. Road will reopen on the Morning of April 9, at 7 AM.
Parking Lot 7 will be closed on the week of April 6-10, for installation of Cobra site lighting by a boom truck. Parking lot reopens on April 11, 2009.
All efforts will be made to complete this work early. Safety precautions will be in place including but not limited to barricades, orange traffic safety cones and flagmen. Please follow any directions to avoid working areas. Please, do not approach the cranes as tempting as that may be. Thank You.
