Cañada College –Gateways Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

As a part of the Gateways Project, a 22,000 lbs Granite Monument stone will be placed at the Secondary Gateway.

SCHEDULE:

Tuesday, 7/28/2009 from 6AM to 2:30 PM

CAMPUS IMPACT:

Access to the Secondary Gateway entry point will be closed between these hours due to the heavy equipment required for this move. There will be a Crane,Stone delivery truck, excavator, concrete mixing truck and various pick up trucks. No pedestrians or cars will be allowed to pass from 6AM to 2:30PM for safety reasons.
All efforts will be made to complete this work early. Safety precautions will be in place including but not limited to barricades, orange traffic safety cones and flagmen. Please follow any directions to avoid working areas. Please, do not approach the cranes as tempting as that may be. Thank You.
