Transportation Demand Management

Transportation is vital to get students, faculty, and staff to and from campus.  In an effort to provide convenient and environmentally friendly transportation options, SMCCCD provides the following transportation options.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations:csmev

In 2013, SMCCCD unveiled 19 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for students, faculty, staff, and community members to utilize.  In 2017, an additional 12 stations will be installed bringing the total number of EV charging stations to 31 District wide.   As the EV market continues to grow, SMCCCD is committed to increasing EV charging stations to keep up with the demand of clean and green commuting.

If you are an SMCCCD student, faculty or staff and would like FREE charging for up to 4 hours at any of the 31 electric vehicle charging stations at Cañada College, College of San Mateo, or Skyline College.  For information on how to set up your account, please visit the Electric Vehicle Charging at SMCCCD page.
