Description	Theater drama production: "The Adding Machine" (seven images) Caption for image 1, from John Hubbard and dated Oct. 11, 1965, reads"SPIRITED SCENE -- Pixie St. Denis, center, tests the vibrations from the spirits of Mike Kerns and Bob Nielsen -- cast as Zero and Shrdlu, respectively -- in a fantasy sequence from 'The Adding Machine,' to be presented at College of San Mateo Oct. 22-24." Caption for image 2: "A DUBIOUS MISS DEVORE -- Pixie St. Denis, cast in the important role of Daisy Devore .....' appears to be a bit uncertain of the intentions of Bob Nielsen, who plays the part of Shrdlu. Both students are San Mateo residents. ......" Caption for image 7: "SAD LIFE, MAD WIFE -- Mike Kerns of San Carlos, cast in the lead role of Mr. Zero in upcoming College of San Mateo production of 'The Adding Machine,' takes some finger-pointed criticism from Vicki Dryden, who plays his wife, in rehearsal scene for fantasy, ..... Mike portrays a bookkeeper shose job is taken over by a man-made 'brain', the 'super-hyper-adding machine.'" 1960's
