Description	Caption, from John Hubbard and dated May 20,1965 reads"BEST OF THE BULLDOGS -- Swim star Greg Buckingham, center, of Atherton, who smashed four national junior college records in his freshman season at College of San Mateo, is honored at school's "athlete of the year" at campus sports award banquet. Selection was announced by John Morrill of San Mateo, right, editor of the San Matean, college student newspaper which sponsored the award. At left is athletic director Herb Hudson. Hudson joined with the paper's sports staf and physical education chairman Gordon Gray in picking Buckingham for the trophy." 1960's
