Goss, center, acting College of San Mateo president, congratulates director Douglas B. Montgomery and producer Rosalie Garrison on winning top statewide television honor for series broadcast over campus educational station, KCSM-TV, Channel 14. They're proudly displaying the fruits of their labor: The California Teachers Association "John Swett Award," given annually for outstanding service to education. Prize series is "Curriculum in Action," aired alternate Mondays at 7:30 p.m. and focusing on significant development in San Mateo County elementary school classrooms. Mrs. Garrision is an eighth grade teacher at Ralston Intermediate School, Belmont. Montgomery heads CSM's telecommunications department." 1960's
