The Study Abroad Office works with faculty, Deans, and College leadership throughout the proposal, program development, recruitment, and implementation process.

NCSAC Semester Abroad
Teach abroad for a semester through the Northern California Study Abroad Consortium.
Eligibility: Full-time SMCCCD faculty only

Develop a short-term program that connects your course with an international destination.

Summer 2028 Faculty-Led Programs
A Two-Stage Proposal Process
Faculty-Led Program proposals are developed in two stages. Faculty first submit a brief Interest Proposal. Selected concepts then advance to the Full Proposal stage, when faculty work with the Study Abroad Office and College leadership to develop the program and obtain College approval.
