Academic Senate

The District Curriculum Committee (DCC) is a sub-committee of the District Academic Senate and is comprised of the Curriculum/Instruction Committee Chairs at each of the three colleges. In addition, a Vice-President of Instruction from one of the three colleges and the Vice Chancellor of Education are invited as consultants to the committee. The sub-committee provides a forum for discussion and makes recommendations to the District Academic Senate on curriculum matters which have district- wide impact. Click Here for more..

Also, as needed, SMCCCD Academic Senate will arrange task forces and ad hoc committees to address a particular task or purpose.
Once completed, the task force or ad hoc committee is no longer in effect.
