Activities will commence around 8:00 am on Wednesday, April 16, to remove any recyclable materials from the referenced empty (mostly!) buildings. This material consists mostly of old metal furniture – desks, filing cabinets, bookcases and shelving units – that are no longer serviceable. This vendor was called in only after all efforts to re-use these furnishings were exhausted. The contractor will have 2 trucks on site starting with the Arts Complex and then proceeding to Building 14. Because these are unoccupied spaces, there will be minimal impact to campus life. As planned, this work will be complete in one day. |
