Hello everyone – progress is being made with the District’s initiative to install District-wide Safety and Security Observation Cameras and an Event Annunciation System (EAS), which provides us with interior speakers in building circulation areas as acts as an extension of our exterior Carillon public announcement capability.
This project adds sanctioned technology and enhances existing security systems to our buildings. Notices will be sent out as we move into other buildings on campus.
Electrical and data cable wiring needs to be installed and this work in Building 3 and Building 6 will be from Monday, August 4th thru Friday, August 15th.
Crews will mainly work above or at ceiling level. Dust protection will be in place and areas surrounding ladders will be ‘safed-off’. Building occupants may hear overhead activity and sounds from small tools.
