PROJECT NAME:

Rebuild asphalt walkway between Parking Lot 10 and B21 and other walkway improvements

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Scapes, Inc. will demolish that stretch of asphalt walkway between Parking Lot 10 and B21 and rebuild it with the required ADA slope and cross slope. Scapes will also install wood curbs across from the bottom landing of the ramps serving B19, B20 and B21, as an added safety measure for wheelchair-bound users of these buildings.

SCHEDULE:

10/16/09 – 10/23/09 (weather-permitting)

CAMPUS IMPACT:

This project will make this pathway fully ADA-compliant and safer for wheelchair-bound persons as they turn from the bottom of the ramps onto the walkway.

Every effort will be taken to minimize disruption, noise and pedestrian traffic impacts in the immediate vicinity of this project. Thank you for your patience while we make this site improvement.
