PROJECT DESCRIPTION: |
|
Landscape restoration and renovation work is a critical component of this project. The woodland along the campus loop road contains a variety of tree species, some of which have exceeded their healthy lifespan or have been inflicted with pestilence and are in decline. Some trees require pruning for general health and fire management. Under the Supervision of an arborist, tree pruning and removal will occur to address dead and dying trees to prevent wildfire fuel buildup, while also opening up certain view corridors to support the design intent of the 2006 Facilities Master Plan. Most of the trees are healthy and will be preserved and protected in place. |
