Hello everyone – the remodel construction is getting underway in Building 1 for our Ceramics program. Re-routing of some internal water lines is necessary. Water will have to be shut off in Building 1 to allow Hensel Phelps Construction to do this.
On Thursday, January 7, there will be NO WATER in Building 1 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. This means toilets will not flush, no water from the sinks, and no drinking fountain water within Building 1.
Swinerton will be posting signage on all the affected restrooms to redirect people to the restrooms in Building 2. If you have questions or concerns, you can direct them to Mike Simanek, Swinerton’s Building 1 Ceramics Project lead person at ext 7044 or simanekm@smccd.edu.
