Hi everyone – in preparation for re-painting the exterior walls of our buildings that will get painted - - Bayview Painting will have to pressure wash the exterior walls.
Pressure washing the exterior walls of Buildings 5, 2, 3, and 1 (mentioned in order) will get started today, March 10, at 2 p.m. and continue through this weekend.
Bayview Painting has assured the campus that all entranceways will be accessible during this painting project and entranceways will get painted separately and on weekends.
Painting of the building entranceways of Buildings 5, 3, and 2 will occur this weekend, March 12 and March 13.
Exterior wall painting of Building 5 will occur the week of March 14 to March 18.
Over the course of the next six weeks, here are the buildings that will get their exterior walls painted (in order) –
- Bldg 5
- Bldg 3
- Bldg 2
- Bldg 1
- Bldg 7 (not the new ½)
- Bldg 8
- Bldg 9
- Bldg 10
- Portables 3A thru 3E
More details will follow regarding specific timeframes and sequencing for pressure washing, entranceway painting and exterior wall painting.
This painting project will be a challenging one for us and the painting contractors – as weather conditions, classes in session, and special events on campus will all have to be taken into consideration.
