Hi everyone – here’s an update to the March 10 Construction Notice. Obvious with all the rain we’ve been experiencing – delays have occurred with staying on schedule with the project. But weather prediction indicate the last of this series of rainy weather will be on Saturday. So - Bayview Painting is ready to get to work.
Here’s what we can expect -
- This Weekend (March 26 & 27): pressure wash Bldg 3 and Bldg 2; paint Bldg 5; start painting Bldg 2
- Next Monday thru Friday (March 28 – April 1): finish painting Bldg 5, finish painting Bldg 2; start painting Bldg 3
- Next weekend (April 2 & 3): finish painting Bldg 3, start painting Portables 3A thru 3E
Bayview Painting has assured the campus that all entranceways will be accessible during this painting project and entranceways will get painted separately and on weekends.
Over the course of the next couple of months, here are the buildings that will get their exterior walls painted (in order) –
- Bldg 5
- Bldg 2
- Bldg 3
- Portables 3A thru 3E
- Bldg 1
- Bldg 7 (not the new ½)
- Bldg 8
- Bldg 9
- Bldg 10
This painting project has been and will continue to be a challenging one for us and the painting contractors – weather conditions, classes in session, special events on campus - - - all have to be taken into consideration.
