Hi everyone – here’s an update to last week’s Construction Notice. With the beautiful weather (albeit a bit warm) we’ve been experiencing, and predictions that it will hold thru next week, Bayview Painting is working hard to make up for the days lost due to the bad weather when they got started.
Here’s what we can expect -
- This Weekend (April 2 & 3): pressure wash Bldg 3, Bldg 1 and Portables 3A thru 3E; finish painting Bldg 2 and Bldg 5
- Next Monday thru Friday (April 4 – April 8): start painting Bldg 3 and Bldg 1
- Next weekend (April 9 & 10): finish painting Bldg 3 and Bldg 1; start painting Portables 3A thru 3E
Bayview Painting has assured the campus that all entranceways will be accessible during this painting project; entranceways will get painted separately and on weekends only.
Over the course of the next couple of months, here are the buildings that will get their exterior walls painted (in order) –
- Bldg 5
- Bldg 2
- Bldg 3
- Bldg 1
- Portables 3A thru 3E
- Bldg 7 (not the new ½)
- Bldg 8
- Bldg 9
- Bldg 10
This painting project has been a challenging one for us and the painting contractors – but with the week of Spring Break coming up – much will get done with little impact.
