Hi everybody – the minor remodeling construction on the 3rd floor of Building 1 by Coulter Construction is progressing nicely and will be a welcome improvement for the new programs, faculty and staff who occupy those areas.
There is some plumbing work required and this will require the water line feeding Building 1 to be temporarily shut off. We purposely asked Coulter Construction to do this work on a Friday afternoon because it will minimally impact the campus.
On Friday, October 21, there will be NO WATER in Building 1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This means toilets will not flush, no water from the sinks, and no drinking fountain water throughout Building 1.
Signage will be posted at the Building 1 restrooms to redirect people to restrooms in Building 2. If you have questions or concerns, you can direct them to the Project Manager, Patty Della Bona, at ext 6862.
