The Skyline College, Building 7 STEM Center project will transform portions of the
3rd Floor to create a centralized learning center - including flexible collaboration
spaces, media center, study room, and staff offices. Leveraging opportunities created
by expanding the STEM program, the Center creates a hub where students and staff can
easily connect in a bold, engaging, and inspiring environment. Four staff offices
will also provide additional support space for the STEM department.
Benefits
This project will provide a dedicated space for collaboration, studying, tutoring
and lecture-style events to STEM students, faculty and staff. Through the use of vibrant
colors, STEM inspired graphics, and designed-in flexibility, the STEM Center will
be able to accommodate a multitude of uses.
