Silicon Valley Intensive English Program (SVIEP) provides multiple levels of proficiency, with corresponding courses for each level. Each level is comprised of core classes that cover skill areas such as: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing, and Grammar. Students who successfully complete SVIEP level 4 are guaranteed admission to San Mateo Colleges of Silicon Valley.
- ESL Level 1 – High Beginner (Student will need basic English to apply)
- ESL Level 2 – Low-Intermediate
- ESL Level 3 – Intermediate
- ESL Level 4 – Advanced
Range of levels offered is subject to change.
