Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee
The District-wide Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee (EEOAC) assists SMCCCD with implementation of its Equal Employment Opportunity Plan and promotes understanding of equal opportunity, nondiscrimination, and workforce diversity.
About the Committee
The EEOAC supports the District’s equal employment opportunity efforts through review of programs, policies, progress, and activities that increase awareness of diversity, equal opportunity, and nondiscrimination.
Under the District’s Equal Employment Opportunity Plan, the committee holds at least four meetings each fiscal year, with additional meetings scheduled as needed. The District makes a substantial good-faith effort to maintain diverse committee membership whenever possible.
All District employees are welcome to attend EEOAC meetings.
Meetings
EEOAC meetings are generally held on Mondays via Zoom from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
