The Problem

You see an alert box that says “Single Sign-On Error” or are being directed to this page when trying to access the Student Success Link (SSL) through OneLogin. As a result, your student account does not currently have access to the SSL. Please follow the steps below.

The Solution

1. Confirm That You are an Active Student

SSL access is available to students with an active student status. You are considered an active student if you:

  • Are currently enrolled in classes at an SMCCD college.
  • Have registered for classes in at least one of the most recent three semesters.
  • Are a new student who has recently applied through CCCApply.
  • Are an international student who is:
    • Currently enrolled in classes;
    • Participating in CPT or OPT; or
    • Admitted for the current or upcoming semester.

If you previously attended SMCCD but have not registered for classes in the last three semesters, your student account is inactive.

2. Try Accessing SSL Again

After confirming that your student status is active, return to OneLogin and launch SSL again. If you still receive a “Single Sign-On Error,” or are directed to this page proceed to the next step.

3. Submit a Student Help Desk Ticket

If you are an active student and continue to receive a “Single Sign-On Error” or are being directed to this page when accessing SSL, please submit a Student Help Desk ticket so our support team can review your account and SSL access. When submitting your ticket, please include:

  • Your full name
  • Student ID number, if available
  • A description of the issue

Please do not include your password or other sensitive information in your ticket.
