Open Education Week 2026

March 2nd through 6th is globally known as Open Education Week, a celebration of all things open education. SMCCCD's Textbook Affordability Solutions Worgroup (TASW) kicked off the week with a "State of ZTC in SMCCCD". CCC@ONE Develops Plug-and-Play Adoptable Courses

The California Community Colleges and their California Virtual Campus Online Network of Educators (CVC@ONE) are developing adoptable courses that use open educational resources (OER) that meet the elements outlined in the Common Course Numbering (CCN) requirements. These courses are also POCR certified, meaning that they're optimized for the best online experience for students. You can learn more on the CVC@ONE's Plug and Play Adoptable Courses website.
